Two notices concern statements made to consumers seeking remedies for sensory mats. The ACCC alleges the emails implied returns or exchanges were discretionary or restricted to store credit issued as gift cards, alongside other conditions affecting product returns. The regulator says those statements could mislead customers about remedies potentially available under Australia's consumer guarantees, including refunds rather than only store credit. A third notice concerns alleged omission of mandatory consumer-guarantee wording from a warranty statement. The AUD59,400 total therefore covers all three notices, rather than a separately disclosed gift-card-only penalty.
