[Buyatab](https://giftcard.news/company/buyatab/) and [Purdys Chocolatier](https://giftcard.news/company/purdys-chocolatier/) announced an online gift card program on December 3, 2018\. The arrangement added digital purchasing to Purdys' gift card offering through the retailer's own website.

Customers in the United States and Canada could select a card design and schedule delivery. Buyatab supplied the branded purchasing experience, while Purdys retained the customer-facing storefront.

Purdys ecommerce director [Amanda Dhalla](https://giftcard.news/person/amanda-dhalla/) said the service would let customers arrange chocolate gifts online. Buyatab chief executive [Matias Marquez](https://giftcard.news/person/matias-marquez/) said the purchase experience was designed
