# Dai Nagoya Building adds QUO Card Pay redemption

Participating shops at [Dai Nagoya Building](https://giftcard.news/organization/dai-nagoya-building/) have joined the [QUO Card](https://giftcard.news/company/quo-card/) Pay redemption network, giving holders of the digital gift another shopping and dining destination in Nagoya. QUO Card announced the addition on July 7, 2026\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

The issuer's venue profile describes a facility aimed partly at office workers in the Nagoya Station area, with shopping and dining choices for visitors. It expressly excludes some stores from acceptance. The addition consequently concerns participating businesses within the destination, rather than an unrestricted building-wide payment option. ## Gift value, buying costs and in-store limits

QUO Card Pay is sent as a gift URL, which a buyer can distribute by email or social messaging after purchase. The value can then be spent within the digital product's accepting network. The physical QUO card has a different merchant network, so the July announcement does not establish equivalent acceptance for plastic cards. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) [\[S02\]](#article-source-2)

The distinction between buying gift value and spending it also matters for a corporate reward budget. QUO Card’s product page, checked on October 16, sets a 6% issuance fee and shows its own example of five JPY1,000 codes: JPY5,000 of gift value costs JPY5,330 after the issuance fee and tax on that fee. The extra JPY330 is a purchase cost for the buyer, rather than additional gift balance for the recipient. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3)

For people working near the station or visiting the building, the expansion adds a local place to use an existing reward. Its usefulness depends on the tenant and the balance: the issuer warns that some shops inside shopping centres may not accept balances limited to designated merchants, even when a common QUO Card Pay balance is usable. The merchant conditions also exclude payments on shopping websites. The announcement therefore expands physical redemption, without establishing a new online checkout integration. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2)

QUO Card's notice names the new destination but does not give a participating-store total, expected spending, merchant fees or transaction results. The commercial change supported by the evidence is access to eligible digital gift balances at participating shops. Additional sales or increased customer visits have not been demonstrated by the announcement.
