Brønnum brought more than 30 years of experience in finance and payments, including roles as Group Executive Vice President at [Nets](https://giftcard.news/company/nets/) and CEO of Nets Denmark. At the time of the appointment, Diggecard identified her as chair of [Mastercard](https://giftcard.news/company/mastercard/) Payment Services in Denmark and Norway and a board member and investor in several fintech businesses. She was named Denmark's Business Angel of the Year in 2022.
