The case study was originally published on February 24, 2021, and the source account includes subsequent developments through January 2023. The partnership introduced expanded channels in 2018\. Diggecard managed physical and digital online sales, delivery to consumers, and B2B sales, marketing and fulfillment. Before that expansion, the source says The Body Shop was not selling gift cards from its websites in European markets. A UK replatforming in early 2020 added personalized messaging and scheduled digital delivery. Diggecard reported a 300% increase in sales in 2020, linking the result to the improved online customer experience. The program reached France, Germany and the Netherlands in 2020\.
