Its examples included supermarkets for groceries and household supplies, retailers for accommodation furnishings, and digital stores for books, applications and entertainment. Meal delivery and café rewards were also included in the selection discussed. For institutions, the company presented gift cards as applicable to both support programmes and incentives for taking part in research. These were proposed uses, rather than results from a named university project. Diggecard said universities participating in the North West University Purchasing Consortium framework could access pre-agreed discounts across more than 190 gift card brands. Its July 2025 account described bulk purchasing in both digital and physical formats. The company also promoted its ordering portal as the route for institutional purchases.
