[Andrew Johnson](https://giftcard.news/person/andrew-johnson/), then chief executive of [Diggecard UK Ltd](https://giftcard.news/company/diggecard-uk-ltd/), was named Group CEO with responsibility across the business’s regions and units. [Arvid Torset](https://giftcard.news/person/arvid-torset/), the outgoing Group CEO, was to become Executive Vice President, Strategy and Innovation. Diggecard said his new remit would include strategic development and a particular focus on artificial intelligence. The gift card solutions provider said its divisions had expanded sales and their customer base under Torset. It presented the combined structure as a way to coordinate technology, sales and specialist expertise across markets. Board chair [Susanne Brønnum](https://giftcard.news/person/susanne-br-nnum/) said the new structure and leadership arrangements were intended to support growth, innovation and customer service.
