[Disney](https://giftcard.news/company/disney/) Gift Card holders have lost more shopping options at Disney Springs, with October reporting identifying the [LEGO](https://giftcard.news/company/lego/) Store and [Sephora](https://giftcard.news/company/sephora/) among retailers that have stopped accepting the cards. A merchant notice at LEGO also rejects Disney Rewards Redemption Cards and resort room charges, showing how the change reaches beyond a single prepaid product. The development concerns third-party retail locations at Walt Disney World’s Florida shopping and dining district. Original reports describe continued use at Disney-operated shops and dining locations, while current issuer terms still make redemption conditional on individual participation. No complete official list of withdrawn retailers or common effective date was available in the reviewed material. ## The documented merchant footprint

[TouringPlans](https://giftcard.news/company/touringplans/) reporter [Amy Schinner](https://giftcard.news/person/amy-schinner/) said she visited Guest Services and merchants including Sephora, LEGO, [Fit2Run](https://giftcard.news/company/fit2run/) and [M&M’s](https://giftcard.news/company/m-m-s/), reporting that Disney payment terminals had been removed. [WDW News Today](https://giftcard.news/company/wdw-news-today/) separately documented the LEGO notice and Sephora’s withdrawal. Its August reporting had already identified [Zara](https://giftcard.news/company/zara/) and [Vera Bradley](https://giftcard.news/company/vera-bradley/), while saying Sephora still accepted Disney Gift Cards at that time. Across those named observations, six established stores were reported to have stopped accepting Disney Gift Cards. [Vuori](https://giftcard.news/company/vuori/) is a different case: WDW News Today reported that its newly opened store did not accept the Disney payment routes when it opened on 16 October. Counting it as another withdrawal would incorrectly imply a prior acceptance history. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) [\[S08\]](#article-source-8)

TouringPlans describes a wider withdrawal across third-party retail, whereas WDW News Today supplies selected examples. The directly inspected LEGO sign confirms that location’s three payment restrictions but supplies neither an effective date nor an explanation.

WDW News Today attributes the changes to an earlier discussion with Guest Relations about third-party contracts. No contract amendment, fee schedule or corporate announcement explaining the economics was obtained.
