The figure appeared in the bank’s volunteering and stewardship recap published on January 6, 2026. The annual Community Card distributions were $3,357 to Baltic School District, $10,580 to Dell Rapids School District, $3,470 to Dell Rapids St. Mary Catholic Schools, $9,845.43 to Flandreau School District and $3,200 to Tea Area School District. The bank also reported $148,439.56 in personal contributions from employees and retirees to the Sioux Empire United Way campaign. Its dollar-for-dollar match brought the combined contribution to $296,879.12. The volunteering recap included several forms of holiday support. Eight employees worked at the Children’s Home Society Gift Wrap Booth in December, while 22 volunteered with Sioux Falls Cares to deliver donated items to families before Christmas. Employees also made 55 blankets for Project Warm-Up. For food support, the bank described three volunteering sessions with Feeding South Dakota. A February team packed frozen food for 950 families; summer interns packed food boxes for 450 families as well as other items; and an August team packed boxes for 400 families. Separate food drives collected approximately 200 items for two local organisations. Other reported activity included building work with Habitat for Humanity, more than 100 units collected through hosted blood drives, and support for Junior Achievement. The bank said 40 employees volunteered in classrooms during the preceding school year, and 20 helped deliver a Finance Park exercise for 77 students in December. The recap covered work undertaken across 2025 and credited employees with supporting organisations through time, fundraising and donations.
