Photo: SpotOn / Unsplash [Gaiurb](https://giftcard.news/organization/gaiurb/)’s September 10 procurement sets out how 35 magnetic gift cards would receive recurring value for essential goods under the Partilha Solidária project in Vila Nova de Gaia. The EUR 28,455.28 base price and 24-month term describe the proposed purchasing arrangement; the reviewed notice and specifications do not identify a winning provider. [\[S01\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/gaiurb-essential-goods-reloadable-gift-card-procurement/#article-source-1) [\[S02\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/gaiurb-essential-goods-reloadable-gift-card-procurement/#article-source-2) ## Monthly allocations differ across the card inventory The annex lists a monthly amount against every card, with seven amounts from EUR 15 to EUR 75\. EUR 45 is assigned to 13 cards, the largest group, while eight cards receive a listed EUR 40 allocation. Grouping the complete annex by these amounts shows the programme’s loading pattern without assuming that a card represents one family. [\[S02\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/gaiurb-essential-goods-reloadable-gift-card-procurement/#article-source-2) The data behind the story ### Monthly allocations across the 35 specified cards Number of cards assigned each monthly euro amount in Annex I of Gaiurb’s 2026 procurement specification. Cards listed in Annex I cards Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Source Gaiurb, Caderno de Encargos, Annex I, pages 9–10 Counts group the 35 actual card rows by their stated monthly allocation. These are planned cards assigned to housing developments, not a count of individual beneficiaries or evidence of loads delivered. Monthly amounts remain subject to Gaiurb’s instructions. Show data tableHide data table Scroll left or right to see all columns __Monthly allocations across the 35 specified cards (cards)__ | Category | Cards listed in Annex I | | -------- | ----------------------- | | EUR 15 | 1 cards | | EUR 25 | 4 cards | | EUR 35 | 7 cards | | EUR 40 | 8 cards | | EUR 45 | 13 cards | | EUR 70 | 1 cards | | EUR 75 | 1 cards | The inventory locates cards at housing developments and common areas. For example, the Padre Vitor Melícias entry in Lever is EUR 15 a month, D. Armindo Lopes Coelho in Olival is EUR 70, and the Vila D’Este Lot 73 common-areas entry is EUR 75\. Those labels matter: this is an operational allocation schedule, not a published schedule of uniform household benefits. [\[S02\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/gaiurb-essential-goods-reloadable-gift-card-procurement/#article-source-2) The supplier must deliver the 35 cards within 15 days after contract signature, load them monthly with amounts specified by Gaiurb and replace defective cards. The annex’s listed amounts total EUR 1,410 for one monthly cycle, calculated by adding all 35 rows. That sum should not be multiplied into a guaranteed 24-month expenditure: the contract separately sets its purchasing ceiling, monthly instructions and proposed commercial discounts. [\[S02\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/gaiurb-essential-goods-reloadable-gift-card-procurement/#article-source-2) Selection uses the largest commercial rebate on accumulated purchases across the published spending bands. No discount percentages are fixed in the blank offer schedule, so the bands do not establish the eventual rebate or delivered card value. The official notice set September 19 as the bid deadline; it provides evidence of the purchasing procedure rather than completed benefits or a new launch of the wider project.
