Photo: Hanshin Station Net [Hanshin Station Net](https://giftcard.news/company/hanshin-station-net/) introduced charges for wrapping and noshi paper with [JCB](https://giftcard.news/company/jcb/) gift-card purchases from October 1, 2026\. Its September 30 notice sets out separate prices for the two presentation services. ## Two separate charges per gift set Wrapping costs JPY30 per set including tax, while noshi, the ceremonial paper used for formal Japanese gifts, costs JPY20 per set including tax. The notice prices the services by set rather than by each gift card inside it. The data behind the story ### Hanshin Station Net’s new JCB gift-card presentation fees The distributor’s notice sets wrapping at JPY30 per set and noshi paper at JPY20 per set from October 1, 2026. Charge per set, including tax JPY Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Source Hanshin Station Net notice, September 30, 2026 These are service charges at Hanshin Station Net, not deductions from the gift cards’ face value or a fee schedule for all JCB sellers. Show data tableHide data table Scroll left or right to see all columns __Hanshin Station Net’s new JCB gift-card presentation fees (JPY)__ | Category | Charge per set, including tax | | ----------- | ----------------------------- | | Wrapping | 30 JPY | | Noshi paper | 20 JPY | The distributor’s Hanshin Ivy Travel sales page separately lists a free card case and a JPY100 paper box. It sells JCB gift cards in the JPY1,000 denomination, requires cash payment and does not offer delivery. The September notice does not explain how every case, box, wrapping and noshi combination will be billed, so the published component prices should not be turned into an assumed all-inclusive package price. The notice applies specifically to JCB gift cards bought from Hanshin Station Net. Although the travel business also sells QUO cards, the announcement does not state that the same wrapping or noshi charges apply to them. JCB’s own packaging guidance supports the distinction between issuer and distributor terms: it explicitly says packaging formats and box charges vary at sales outlets. Its direct-order guide includes a free card case for sets of up to 30 cards and a free paper box from 31 cards, with optional paid formats. Those direct-order arrangements do not establish Hanshin Station Net’s charges. The change adds a cost to the buyer’s chosen presentation services without announcing a change to the recipient’s card value. Neither the distributor notice nor the reviewed issuer guidance supplies sales volumes, use of paid wrapping or revenue from the new fees. The two stated charges are therefore the relevant comparison; no customer take-up or network-wide pricing trend can be inferred. ## In this article ### Companies * [Hanshin Station Net](https://giftcard.news/company/hanshin-station-net/) * [JCB](https://giftcard.news/company/jcb/) ### Sources and documents * [\[S01\] Original primary announcement](https://hanshin-stationnet.co.jp/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — Hanshin Station Net * [Distributor’s JCB and QUO sales conditions](https://www.hanshin-stationnet.co.jp/travel/index.html?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — Hanshin Station Net * [Issuer packaging guidance and seller-specific terms](https://www.jcb.co.jp/voucher/gift-card/wrapping.html?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — JCB Share [ ](https://x.com/intent/post?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fhanshin-station-net-jcb-gift-card-packaging-fees%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dx%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&text=Hanshin+Station+Net+adds+JCB+gift-card+packaging+fees&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "X") [ ](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fhanshin-station-net-jcb-gift-card-packaging-fees%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dlinkedin%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "LinkedIn") [ ](https://wa.me/?text=Hanshin+Station+Net+adds+JCB+gift-card+packaging+fees+https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fhanshin-station-net-jcb-gift-card-packaging-fees%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dwhatsapp%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "WhatsApp") ![Portrait of Suzie Elis](https://giftcard.news/images/variants/v1/suzie-elis-editorial-portrait-w320.webp) About the author ## [Suzie Elis](https://giftcard.news/author/suzie-elis/) Journalist — Gift Cards & Digital Gifting Suzie Elis covers gift card products, digital gifting and distribution for Gift Card News.
