Photo: JCB [JCB](https://giftcard.news/company/jcb/) closed its dedicated Gift Card Desk on September 30, 2026 and is directing subsequent gift-card inquiries to frequently asked questions on its website. The issuer confirms the completed closure in a dated notice on its official gift-card page. It does not disclose why the desk ended or quantify the volume of inquiries affected. The change withdraws a dedicated customer-inquiry route. JCB's physical gift-card program remains available through internet orders and participating retail sales outlets. The current page lists JPY1,000 and JPY5,000 denominations and says the cards have no expiry date. The notice does not establish a new sales channel or the end of redemption. September 30 is the verified date on which the desk ceased operating. The first announcement day and the page's original publication timestamp are not established. ## In this article ### Companies * [JCB](https://giftcard.news/company/jcb/) ### Sources and documents * [Official completed September 30 desk-closure notice](https://www.jcb.co.jp/voucher/gift-card/index.html?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — JCB Share [ ](https://x.com/intent/post?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fjcb-dedicated-gift-card-desk-september30-closure%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dx%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&text=JCB+closes+dedicated+Gift+Card+Desk+and+redirects+inquiries+online&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "X") [ ](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fjcb-dedicated-gift-card-desk-september30-closure%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dlinkedin%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "LinkedIn") [ ](https://wa.me/?text=JCB+closes+dedicated+Gift+Card+Desk+and+redirects+inquiries+online+https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fjcb-dedicated-gift-card-desk-september30-closure%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dwhatsapp%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "WhatsApp") ![Portrait of Oliver Reed](https://giftcard.news/images/variants/v1/oliver-reed-editorial-portrait-w320.webp) About the author ## [Oliver Reed](https://giftcard.news/author/oliver-reed/) Journalist — Industry Deals & Research Oliver Reed covers industry acquisitions, investment and market research for Gift Card News.
