The earliest verified public product record is dated September 13; a September 20 company article subsequently described the service. The retailer lists six values: ZAR250, ZAR500, ZAR750, ZAR1,000, ZAR1,500 and ZAR2,000\. Delivery uses the recipient's email address, with a code for redemption at NaijaMart's own online checkout. A valid code is transferable to its bearer, so the retailer tells users to keep it secure. These terms do not establish acceptance at other merchants. The distribution model lets the buyer transfer purchasing choice while keeping the resulting spend within the retailer's product range. The company presents the feature as a new digital gifting service but does not disclose uptake or transaction volumes.
