Photo: Pluxee France [Pluxee France](https://giftcard.news/company/pluxee/) began progressively replacing its Spirit of Cadeau card with Carte Pluxee Cadeaux from June 15, while retaining the existing merchant acceptance network. The change brings the gift-card product under the Pluxee name, with continuity for employers and recipients central to the company's published transition guidance. A separate Pluxee FAQ, dated June 16, says existing cards can continue to be used normally until their expiry, which it describes as 12 months after issue. [\[S3\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/pluxee-cadeaux-spirit-of-cadeau-card-transition-june-2026/#article-source-3) The new-card FAQ also specifies 12 months, counted from the date the CSE loads the card. Its wording differs from the issue-date rule for outstanding Spirit of Cadeau cards. Administrators should use the expiry shown for the particular card, rather than assume the June rebranding starts a fresh period. Sources Existing Spirit of Cadeau expiry FAQ; New Carte Pluxee Cadeaux validity FAQ These are the two specific transition FAQs, not every incentive-card contract. Issue date and CSE loading date are retained as written and are not assumed to coincide. No new twelve-month period is granted merely by the name change. It also describes additional brands as something Pluxee is working to add in the following months. That separates the confirmed continuity of acceptance from a planned expansion of the network. [\[S2\]](https://giftcard.news/gift-cards/pluxee-cadeaux-spirit-of-cadeau-card-transition-june-2026/#article-source-2) For employers distributing rewards, continuity matters because a change of card identity can otherwise leave recipients uncertain about where to spend their balance.
