The image shows the shopping destination, not the QUO Card Pay announcement. Photo: Yokohama Landmark Tower Recipients of [QUO Card](https://giftcard.news/company/quo-card/) Pay gained two shopping destinations in Yokohama when QUO Card added participating stores at [Landmark Plaza](https://giftcard.news/organization/landmark-plaza/) and [MARK IS Minatomirai](https://giftcard.news/organization/mark-is-minatomirai/) to its digital gift network. The issuer announced both additions on August 5, 2026\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) The change expands where an existing digital balance can be spent. It does not establish universal acceptance across either shopping centre: QUO Card's individual listings expressly exclude some stores, and the announcement gives no count of participating tenants. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) ## Two centres, with store-level limits Landmark Plaza sits within the Landmark Tower complex. The venue's website describes a mix of approximately 160 shopping, service and dining outlets. QUO Card describes MARK IS Minatomirai as a roughly 175-store commercial facility in the Minatomirai 21 district. Those figures describe the shopping destinations, not the number of merchants accepting QUO Card Pay. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) [\[S05\]](#article-source-5) These approximate facility descriptions were checked on October 18\. They are useful measures of the two shopping destinations, but cannot be added together as a count of participating QUO Card Pay stores. The sources do not publish that enabled-store count. The data behind the story ### Shopping-centre size, not payment acceptance Approximate whole-facility store counts in current operator and issuer descriptions. Whole-facility stores stores Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Sources Landmark operator: current shop guide; QUO Card: MARK IS facility description Current descriptions checked October 18, 2026\. A shopping centre joining a gift network can bring several retail categories within reach, but the actual choice still depends on participating stores and the balance held. The issuer's listings warn that balances restricted to particular merchants may not be accepted in some shopping-centre stores, even where a common QUO Card Pay balance can be used. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) QUO Card also distinguishes the digital product's acceptance network from that of its physical cards. Its merchant listings exclude payments on online shopping sites, making these additions a route to purchases at eligible physical stores. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) ## Digital delivery meets local redemption QUO Card Pay is delivered as a gift URL that a purchaser can pass to a recipient by email or social messaging. QUO Card's product page allows amounts from JPY50 to JPY100,000 in one-yen increments, with a minimum total order of JPY1,000\. [\[S04\]](#article-source-4) The same page lists an issuance fee equal to 6% of the issued value, with consumption tax applying to the fee. That published purchasing charge provides context for the product's distribution model; it is not evidence of the commercial terms agreed with either shopping centre. [\[S04\]](#article-source-4) QUO Card illustrates this charge on its own product page with five JPY1,000 codes: JPY5,000 of gift value, a JPY300 issuance fee and JPY30 tax on that fee, for JPY5,330 in total. The chart reproduces that published pricing illustration. It is not an observed customer order or a calculation of either shopping centre's merchant charges. [\[S04\]](#article-source-4) The data behind the story ### Components of the issuer's published pricing example QUO Card's own example for buying five JPY1,000 codes, checked October 18, 2026. Published example component JPY Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Source QUO Card Pay: published purchase-cost example A documented issuer pricing illustration, not an observed transaction or a new model. Components total JPY5,330; consumption tax applies to the fee. Buyer-side issuance charges do not establish shopping-centre merchant terms. For participating retailers, acceptance makes those balances available as a payment option. The August announcement does not disclose transaction volumes, redemption targets, merchant fees or the value expected to flow through the two centres. Those outcomes remain unreported. ## In this article ### Companies * [QUO Card](https://giftcard.news/company/quo-card/) ### Organizations * [Landmark Plaza](https://giftcard.news/organization/landmark-plaza/) * [MARK IS Minatomirai](https://giftcard.news/organization/mark-is-minatomirai/) ### Sources and documents * [\[S01\] August 5 announcement adding both shopping centres](https://www.quocard.com/newsroom/info/20260805/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — QUO Card * [\[S02\] Landmark Plaza merchant listing and redemption restrictions](https://www.quocard.com/individual/store/quopay/mall/yokohama-landmark/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — QUO Card * [\[S03\] MARK IS Minatomirai merchant listing and facility context](https://www.quocard.com/individual/store/quopay/mall/mec-markis/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — QUO Card * [\[S04\] QUO Card Pay delivery, denominations and issuance fees](https://www.quocard.com/individual/product/quopay/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — QUO Card * [\[S05\] Landmark Plaza shopping and dining context](https://yokohama-landmark.jp/?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — Yokohama Landmark Tower Share [ ](https://x.com/intent/post?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fquo-card-pay-landmark-plaza-mark-is-minatomirai%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dx%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&text=QUO+Card+Pay+adds+Landmark+Plaza+and+MARK+IS+Minatomirai&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "X") [ ](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fquo-card-pay-landmark-plaza-mark-is-minatomirai%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dlinkedin%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "LinkedIn") [ ](https://wa.me/?text=QUO+Card+Pay+adds+Landmark+Plaza+and+MARK+IS+Minatomirai+https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fgift-cards%2Fquo-card-pay-landmark-plaza-mark-is-minatomirai%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dwhatsapp%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "WhatsApp") ![Portrait of Suzie Elis](https://giftcard.news/images/variants/v1/suzie-elis-editorial-portrait-w320.webp) About the author ## [Suzie Elis](https://giftcard.news/author/suzie-elis/) Journalist — Gift Cards & Digital Gifting Suzie Elis covers gift card products, digital gifting and distribution for Gift Card News.
