[Roissy Pays de France](https://giftcard.news/organization/roissy-pays-de-france/) has renewed its local gift-card subsidy, offering residents a 20% purchase discount on cards for registered shops across the agglomeration. The original authority announcement is dated October 7 and sets the new phase for October 8 through June 30, 2027\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

The authority is working with the [Fédération Nationale des Centres-Villes](https://giftcard.news/organization/federation-nationale-des-centres-villes/) on the renewed operation. It says it will again fund the reduction, positioning the card as a way to direct household spending toward participating local businesses.

## The discount funds a local digital spending balance

Under the published example, a card with EUR100 of spending value costs EUR80\. The offer applies to up to EUR250 in card face value per person; that cap is not a promise of EUR250 in public subsidy. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

The authority’s example costs the buyer EUR80, with the remaining EUR20 covered by the 20% face-value discount.

Announced funding terms, not purchase or redemption results. The 20% applies to face value; EUR20 is 20% of EUR100 and also EUR100 minus the EUR80 customer price.

Buyers use the linked local-commerce website and receive the card as a QR code on their phone. Registered merchants scan it at each purchase, with use possible at one or several participating shops. The customer account provides a summary of purchases. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) [\[S02\]](#article-source-2)

The reviewed authority text does not disclose a total subsidy budget, issued value, merchant count or realised sales effect. Nor does its campaign timetable establish the expiry or refund terms for every individual card. Those limits prevent the announced offer from being read as completed issuance or measured economic impact.
