Photo: Chatsam / Wikimedia Commons / CC BY-SA 3.0 [Sebourg CCAS](https://giftcard.news/organization/sebourg-ccas/) has approved replacing its year-end parcels and meals for older residents with EUR20 vouchers usable at participating food shops in the commune. Its board adopted the change September 17, and the documents were posted publicly September 24\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) The benefit is intended for residents aged at least 70 by December 31, 2026\. The resolution schedules handout from November 16 to 20, at the town hall or at eligible residents’ homes, for beneficiaries who have made themselves known to the social-assistance centre. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## How the senior voucher fits Sebourg’s local food benefits The EUR20 senior benefit is distinct from the CCAS’s other Christmas food assistance. Its adopted 2026 relief schedule specifies a base EUR80 food voucher for people on the means-tested relief register, with a 50% uplift for households, and EUR40 for RSA recipients living with their parents. The comparison shows how the new age-based voucher fits the local benefit system; it does not show a cut to either existing award or establish that the benefits can be combined. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) [\[S05\]](#article-source-5) The data behind the story ### Separate Sebourg Christmas food-voucher benefits for 2026 The new senior voucher sits alongside existing food-aid vouchers with different eligibility. These are face values of distinct benefits, not successive versions of one award. Specified voucher value EUR Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Sources CCAS resolution 04.09/2026, September 17, 2026; CCAS minutes of December 8, 2025, 2026 relief awards, page 3 Eligibility differs. The EUR80 is the relief-register base amount; the decision allows a 50% uplift for households. The EUR40 is the separate amount for RSA recipients living with parents. These are not reductions, a combined entitlement, observed redemptions or a total budget; stacking is not established. Show data tableHide data table Scroll left or right to see all columns __Separate Sebourg Christmas food-voucher benefits for 2026 (EUR)__ | Category | Specified voucher value | | ---------------------------------------------- | ----------------------- | | New voucher for residents aged 70+ | 20 EUR | | Relief-register Christmas voucher: base amount | 80 EUR | | RSA recipient living with parents | 40 EUR | Each voucher has a EUR20 face value and is to be used in a single transaction with one participating local food merchant. The documents provide for beneficiary names, a unique voucher number and a list of participating shops. This is a designated local spending instrument rather than an unrestricted cash payment. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) The adopted agreement model provides for merchant reimbursement after readable vouchers and the corresponding invoice are received and checked against the beneficiary list. It does not establish that any named merchant has already signed, and the sources give no completed issuance or redemption total. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) The resolution gives January 3, 2027 as the last spending date, while the merchant-agreement annex prints January 3, 2026\. That earlier date precedes the planned distribution. The reviewed documents do not resolve the inconsistency, so recipients and merchants should not treat either printed year as a clarified final term. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) The board says the change also aims to support local commerce alongside its social-assistance role. Future annual renewals require an express decision; the approval does not establish a permanent automatic entitlement or a measured retail-sales effect.
