The official schedule awards 1,000 points for 200–299 shares and rises through seven bands to 35,000 points for at least 1,500 shares. Vis describes one point as approximately JPY 1 and says points can be exchanged for electronic money or other rewards through the shareholder website. These are distinct redemption routes: the rule that Vis points cannot roll into the next year should not be replaced with the expiry terms of a subsequently selected gift. The issuer also offers automated telephone applications with a more limited product selection for shareholders unable to register online.
