The integration gives MUSD users a spending route into products supplied by Bitrefill. Mezo users can borrow against Bitcoin collateral to create MUSD and then use that value in the marketplace. This is a collateral-backed borrowing mechanism, distinct from directly selling Bitcoin to fund a purchase. The gift card examples in the announcement included [Amazon](https://giftcard.news/company/amazon/), [Uber Eats](https://giftcard.news/company/uber-eats/), [Airbnb](https://giftcard.news/company/airbnb/) and [Steam](https://giftcard.news/company/steam/). Bitrefill also identified eSIMs among the products users could access, alongside hundreds of other options. For Mezo, the partnership provides a practical spending use for MUSD.
