The companies positioned the integration for retailers managing physical and digital sales channels. The proposed workflow allowed retailers using Sitoo to issue and redeem gift cards through the POS platform. Diggecard said the integration was intended to reduce the separate administration required to operate a gift card programme. The partnership also included access to corporate gift card distribution. Diggecard said retailers could use its business-to-business expertise and sales channels to reach corporate purchasers. Diggecard chief commercial officer [Kristian Stølen](https://giftcard.news/person/kristian-st-len/) linked the relationship to the company’s wider strategy of supplying gift card technology to commerce platforms. Sitoo’s head of partnerships, [Pontus Lundström](https://giftcard.news/person/pontus-lundstrom/), described the collaboration as aligned with its retail technology offering.
