The company reported the result on November 25, following the ceremony the previous evening. Johnsen, then 28 and based at Diggecard's Bergen headquarters, joined the business in October 2019 as sales coordinator and customer success manager. Diggecard said he onboarded 40 retailers in his first quarter and that those customers remained with the company when it published the award announcement. He was promoted to sales manager in January 2020\. The company highlighted his subsequent work on larger retail partnerships in the Nordic region, including eight qualified leads generated in one month.
