Managing the Danish programme is a different responsibility from distributing IKEA cards in other markets. Huuray separately says it acts as a B2B distribution partner for the brand in more than 15 countries; that does not establish a mandate to manage every national IKEA gift-card programme. Business buyers may need approval records, invoices and delivery into their own reward workflows. A programme operator’s work can extend well beyond making the card visible in a catalogue. Distribution adds a separate route to demand. A retailer may reach employers, agencies or incentive platforms through a specialist network while retaining different operating arrangements by country. Treating those relationships as identical would obscure the commercial responsibilities involved. The IKEA Denmark example puts those functions in the same case: local programme administration, access for corporate buyers and delivery into several channels.
