Announced on October 26, 2022, the transaction brings TCN’s consumer and business gifting products into InComm’s international distribution operation. TCN was founded in 2019 by [Nick Sims](https://giftcard.news/person/nick-sims/) and [Richard Hewitt](https://giftcard.news/person/richard-hewitt/). Its cards group multiple retailers around themes, allowing the recipient to choose among participating brands instead of being limited to a single merchant. Examples include a sports-oriented Active Card and a Home Card covering homewares. The products are sold online and through Australian retail chains. TCN also operates a direct gifting website where buyers can pair card packages with photographs or video messages, and it supplies companies using gifts for incentives, loyalty and employee or customer rewards. InComm and TCN had worked together before the acquisition. Sims said joining InComm would build on that relationship, while InComm’s regional leadership pointed to TCN’s product development experience as a reason for the purchase. InComm entered Australia and New Zealand in 2010\.
