The official award record lists four tenders and a September 17, 2026 award decision; the contract was issued October 6 and the notice published October 12\. [\[S01\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-1) ## Retailer choice and delivery requirements explain the award’s scope The university weighted retailer selection at 25%, ahead of voucher functionality and ordering/distribution at 20% each. Data protection carried 10% and environmental and sustainability measures 5%. The remaining 20% covered cost, split into 15% for voucher pricing and 5% for physical-delivery postage in the detailed response document. [\[S05\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-5) [\[S06\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-6) The data behind the story ### Maynooth: published voucher-supplier evaluation weights The cost component is split into voucher pricing and physical-delivery postage in the detailed response document. Share of evaluation % Tap or hover for details. All values are also available in the data table. Sources Maynooth PCO 517 request for tenders, award criteria; Maynooth PCO 517 response document, cost breakdown Published evaluation weights, not Me2You’s scores, card denominations or actual spending. The 20% cost subtotal is represented by its 15% voucher-pricing and 5% postage components, without being counted again. Show data tableHide data table Scroll left or right to see all columns __Maynooth: published voucher-supplier evaluation weights (%)__ | Category | Share of evaluation | | -------------------------------- | ------------------- | | Retailer selection | 25% | | Voucher types and functionality | 20% | | Ordering and distribution | 20% | | Data protection | 10% | | Environmental and sustainability | 5% | | Voucher pricing | 15% | | Physical-delivery postage | 5% | Before scoring, bidders had to offer both physical and electronic vouchers, including at least EUR15, EUR25, EUR50 and EUR100 denominations. The specification required voucher values to match the order value and no per-transaction spending limit below the voucher’s available balance. These are published supply requirements, not a record of the university’s actual order mix or a universal award amount for each recipient. [\[S05\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-5) Vouchers recognise participants or employees for performance or involvement in university events and programmes; book vouchers are excluded. The tender describes an initial three-year contract with two optional one-year extensions, consistent with the award notice’s planned 60-month duration. Its total value must not exceed EUR300,000 excluding VAT, and the notice records the same award amount. Neither document establishes completed card loading, redemption or recognised supplier revenue. [\[S01\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-1) [\[S05\]](https://giftcard.news/industry-deals/maynooth-university-me2you-multivendor-voucher-contract/#article-source-5) Me2You’s current catalogue offers physical and digital cards and app features. The university requested both formats, but the final mix, supplier pricing, acceptance list and recipient count are not disclosed in the reviewed award record. Retailer coverage, ordering reports and delivery methods were matters for bidders to demonstrate, rather than measured programme results. A separate aggregate result field carries October 8, the notice’s issue date; it is not substituted for the settled-contract decision date.
