The [Municipalidad de Providencia](https://giftcard.news/organization/municipalidad-de-providencia/) in Chile has opened a tender for 948 gift cards for its employee welfare service's 2026 Christmas benefit. The procurement record was first published on October 5 and remains open for bids until October 28\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

The municipality plans to pay CLP 45,500 per card, giving the purchase an estimated budget of CLP 43,134,000\. That figure describes the buyer's cost, rather than establishing the balance recipients will receive: the competition asks suppliers to offer bonus value. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

Bonuses dominate the selection. The proposed bonus percentage carries 85% of the evaluation score, followed by redemption locations at 10%, formal requirements at 3% and an integrity programme at 2%. Bonus scoring also takes priority in the tie-breaking sequence. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)
