[Rhöner Botschaft GmbH](https://giftcard.news/organization/rhoner-botschaft-gmbh/)'s preliminary administrator says customer advance payments, explicitly including purchased vouchers, cannot currently be recognised for future services. The restriction is described in his statement following a September 16 order placing the German hospitality operator under preliminary insolvency administration. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

Jakob Schwarz of [Justask](https://giftcard.news/organization/justask/), who says he was appointed by the Meiningen local court, attributes the treatment of those payments to insolvency-law requirements. His statement does not give the precise day the voucher restriction began or say that the balances have been permanently cancelled.

## Venues remain open, but advance value is restricted

The business operates the SaxenHof hotel, WohnZimmer and BjoernsOx restaurants, and EdenSpa in Dermbach. Schwarz says the venues remain open, existing reservations remain valid and new bookings continue. The company's own site identifies the same hospitality operations. For a guest who has already paid for a voucher, continued trading therefore does not establish that the prepaid value can be used toward a visit. The administrator's distinction is between keeping the service business operating and recognising money previously paid for future services.

The statement provides no outstanding voucher-liability total, number of affected holders, denomination schedule or payment-processing partner. It also gives no recovery percentage, claims deadline or promise of a cash refund.

## Preliminary restructuring remains under assessment

Schwarz says his team and management are reviewing the financial position, talking with landlords, suppliers and other business partners, and beginning an investor process.
