[Sendoso](https://giftcard.news/company/sendoso/) announced its acquisition of [Postal](https://giftcard.news/company/postal/) on May 1, 2025, bringing together two businesses focused on corporate gifting and direct mail. The deal added Postal's employee programmes, branded merchandise and company-store capabilities to Sendoso's sending operations. Financial terms were not disclosed. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1)

## Beyond sales prospecting

Sendoso co-founder and co-CEO [Kris Rudeegraap](https://giftcard.news/person/kris-rudeegraap/) described Postal's People Operations offering and curated merchandise as complementary to Sendoso's scale. Postal founder and then-CEO [Erik Kostelnik](https://giftcard.news/person/erik-kostelnik/) pointed to use cases ranging from employee rewards to events and outbound marketing. That range matters because business gifting serves different internal buyers. A sales team may send a gift around a commercial conversation, while an employee programme may need branded stores, milestone rewards or repeatable onboarding processes. Combining those functions can change which departments buy from the same provider and how their spending is administered.

## Integration was a process, not a completed feature

The companies promised service continuity with enhanced capabilities rolling out over time. Co-CEO [Abhay Rajaram](https://giftcard.news/person/abhay-rajaram/) presented the combination as a way to broaden use cases and accelerate development, while Postal's own announcement confirmed that it was joining Sendoso. The announcement also described SmartDelivery address discovery as an early beta and discussed future campaign automation. These product plans accompanied the acquisition; they were not evidence that every account had already migrated to a single completed platform.

For existing customers, the consequential details were how service, account relationships and workflows would be maintained during integration. The release did not set a universal migration deadline or publish a quantified savings commitment.
