# Shiogama seeks JCB gift cards for disability support

[Shiogama City](https://giftcard.news/organization/shiogama-city/) in Japan has advertised a procurement for [JCB](https://giftcard.news/company/jcb/) Gift Cards to support residents with disabilities facing higher living costs. The September 29 notice seeks a supplier under a contract priced per set, with delivery required by November 27\. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) [\[S04\]](#article-source-4)

Each set must contain five new ¥1,000 JCB Gift Cards and one usage guide, packed and sealed in an individual card case. The specification anticipates distribution to about 3,300 residents holding disability certificates, using November 1 as the reference date. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2)

That design gives each intended recipient ¥5,000 in gift-card face value. At the stated estimate, the programme would require about 16,500 cards carrying ¥16.5 million in total face value.
