Announced on December 9, 2022, the partnership placed the bank alongside [PrimeXM](https://giftcard.news/company/primexm/) as a presenting partner of the [World Match Racing Tour](https://giftcard.news/organization/world-match-racing-tour/) finale in Sydney, connecting its international banking proposition with a concentrated global sporting audience. The event subsequently produced a concrete record beyond the launch announcement: 106 races over five days, a final that went to a deciding race and a world title for New Zealand's KNOTS Racing. The sporting record gives the partnership a specific competitive setting. The organizer identified two presenting partners; it did not describe Zenus as the exclusive sponsor or as the owner of a racing team. ## The announcement and racing calendars differ by one day Zenus's own announcement referred to December 13-18, while the tour scheduled racing for December 14-18\. The event therefore provided repeated racing moments rather than a single mass start, while the championship format gave the closing rounds an identifiable narrative. ## What happened on the water In its December 19 final report, the tour named Nick Egnot-Johnson, Sam Barnett, Zak Merton and Bradley McLaughlin as the winning KNOTS Racing crew, representing the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. Egnot-Johnson's team defeated Chris Poole's Riptide Racing 3-2 after the Americans twice levelled the final. The final stayed competitive through all five races. KNOTS won the opening race, Riptide levelled, and the sequence repeated before KNOTS took the deciding race.
