The company said the feature retained its advertised uncapped 1% cashback on spending funded by either balance. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## Customer money and credit remain different The feature increased the amount available to spend by combining two sources of funds. Adding money did not, by itself, mean the lender had increased a customer’s approved credit limit. That distinction is central to understanding the product. The preloading announcement concerned the funding and earning side of that relationship, rather than a separate launch of gift-card inventory. For a business making a large purchase, the practical question is how its own cash and available credit interact. That requires understanding the account rules, the timing of funding and which transactions qualify for rewards. A headline cashback rate alone does not answer those questions. The release did not set out every limit or contractual condition.
