The company said the arrangement addressed operational constraints it had encountered with earlier issuing systems. Those constraints included lengthy due-diligence processes, minimum purchase requirements, exclusivity and complex pricing. Giftbit said the Marqeta relationship enabled onboarding through a business-verification process without the same purchase minimums or exclusivity requirements.
