The credit union payment-processing provider said it had reviewed its working practices during the pandemic before making the change. Chief Customer Officer [Joyce Carter](https://giftcard.news/person/joyce-carter/) said the review had removed inefficient processes, reduced costs and improved client service. MAP cited a Net Promoter Score of 85 for 2022 as a measure of customer sentiment during that period, rather than as a result measured after the office transition. Following the closure of its headquarters, MAP donated furniture, equipment and supplies to Union Gospel Mission, a Seattle-area nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness.
