The January 21 update highlighted India, Pay to Card and Runa Shop alongside work on integration speed and the reliability of day-to-day ordering. India was a geographical focus in the roadmap. Runa described handling currency exchange and the market requirements involved in supplying digital gift card payouts there. It cited a projection that India's gift card market would reach $15.7 billion by 2028, using a future estimate to frame the planned opportunity. The Pay to Card section described a payout initiated with a recipient's email address, followed by a notification and funds made available through the recipient's card-linked account. The roadmap presented this as part of Runa's work on faster payout experiences. Runa Shop was described as a customisable gift card marketplace for uses including employee benefits programmes and member discount malls. Runa positioned its low-code tools around adapting the storefront to the programme rather than developing the entire marketplace separately. Operational priorities included reducing the time required to integrate additional payout types, holding inventory for selected popular merchants and notifying customers when their account balance was low. The inventory and balance measures were intended to reduce disruptions to reward orders. The update combined product direction with descriptions of platform functionality.
