The July 9, 2024 update also described changes to the Runa Portal and a choice of synchronous or asynchronous order processing. The company said the API supported sending 350 payouts in a batch at the time of the announcement. A higher limit of 500 was described as a target for a future update, not a capability already available in the release. Recipient-email controls let customers use their own logo, brand color, sender name and message. Runa also described saving multiple templates for different types of payout, allowing separate communications for uses such as employee incentives and consumer promotions. The international network described in the update covered 4,000 merchants in 38 countries and 22 currencies. Newly highlighted currencies included the Japanese yen, Mexican peso, Singapore dollar, Bulgarian lev and Brazilian real. These are the figures and additions reported for the July 2024 release. In the Portal, Runa added filters for country and approval status to help administrators find and manage orders. Product codes were also added to the Order Details page, giving teams another identifier to use when tracking an order or investigating a delivery issue. The API offered two integration approaches. Runa described the asynchronous option for higher-volume operations processing multiple requests, while the synchronous option was intended for simpler, lower-volume workflows. Customers could choose the approach appropriate to their ordering requirements. The company encouraged existing customers to begin migrating to the updated API.
