Photo: SpotOn / Unsplash [WoveGifts](https://giftcard.news/company/wovegifts/) entered the [Shopify](https://giftcard.news/company/shopify/) App Store on September 9, 2026, adding a merchant app focused on gift-card sales and distribution. The original launch date is stated in Shopify's official listing. The listing currently describes a connection between a merchant's store and a centralized marketplace serving corporate and individual gift-card buyers. It says the app synchronizes products and provides a reporting dashboard within Shopify for sales, brand performance and monthly settlements. The listed developer is WoveGifts powered by My Perks. The app is categorized for bulk and digital gift cards, with email delivery and gift messages among the stated options. The dated milestone is the app's initial platform launch. Current marketplace descriptions are not independently verified as the complete September 9 feature set: an earlier indexed description emphasized gift-card rewards, and no dated feature-change history resolves that difference. The listing provides no merchant adoption figure, sales result or measured distribution benefit. Its claims describe the developer's offered functionality, rather than outcomes tested by Gift Card News. ## In this article ### Companies * [Shopify](https://giftcard.news/company/shopify/) * [WoveGifts](https://giftcard.news/company/wovegifts/) ### Sources and documents * [Official app listing and original launch date](https://apps.shopify.com/wove-gifts-public?utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news) — Shopify App Store Share [ ](https://x.com/intent/post?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fpayments-technology%2Fwovegifts-shopify-app-store-gift-card-distribution-launch%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dx%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&text=WoveGifts+joins+Shopify+App+Store+with+gift-card+app&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "X") [ ](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fpayments-technology%2Fwovegifts-shopify-app-store-gift-card-distribution-launch%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dlinkedin%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "LinkedIn") [ ](https://wa.me/?text=WoveGifts+joins+Shopify+App+Store+with+gift-card+app+https%3A%2F%2Fgiftcard.news%2Fpayments-technology%2Fwovegifts-shopify-app-store-gift-card-distribution-launch%2F%3Futm%5Fsource%3Dwhatsapp%26utm%5Fmedium%3Dsocial&utm%5Fsource=giftcard.news&utm%5Fcampaign=giftcard.news "WhatsApp") ![Portrait of Maya Bennett](https://giftcard.news/images/variants/v1/maya-bennett-editorial-portrait-w320.webp) About the author ## [Maya Bennett](https://giftcard.news/author/maya-bennett/) Journalist — Rewards & Loyalty Maya Bennett covers customer loyalty, employee rewards and incentive programmes for Gift Card News.
