Issued by [Sunrise Banks](https://giftcard.news/company/sunrise-banks/), the launch products were U.S.-dollar, single-load cards intended for corporate-funded rewards and incentives. It also described options for custom branding and recipient personalisation. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## Targeting without a single retailer The proposition is a spending category rather than one merchant. That gives a programme a different design choice: it can direct the purpose of a reward while leaving the recipient some choice of where to use it. The relevant measure of usefulness is therefore the acceptance network available to that recipient, not simply the headline value of the reward. The launch statement says filtering is built in and does not require additional configuration. Physical and virtual formats address different redemption settings. The existence of a digital version should not be read as a promise that every location or terminal will support the same payment experience. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## Product terms remain important The current BHN product catalogue continues to distinguish driving and grocery products and describes recipient personalisation. Its driving section now lists a choice of networks. That current catalogue detail should not be confused with the narrower Mastercard partnership announced in January. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) For a programme buyer, the practical work is to match the card's permitted spending and acceptance conditions to the intended reward. A mobility incentive, a grocery benefit and a broad-purpose recognition payment may call for different products even when they share the same delivery platform. Category targeting is not, by itself, evidence of stronger employee engagement, improved loyalty or higher returns. Those outcomes depend on programme design and recipient experience and need to be measured separately. The announcement establishes additional reward options and their issuing arrangement.
