The supplier presented the integration as a way to support lead generation and customer engagement. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## From participation to fulfilment Outgrow supplied tools for creating interactive content and collecting responses. BHN Rewards supplied a digital-reward catalog and controls for branding and delivery. Gift cards, prepaid cards and electronic donations were among the reward choices described in the announcement. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) The proposition brought the participation activity and the reward-delivery process together. It did not establish that every content format would produce better leads or that offering an incentive would improve the quality of the resulting data. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## Engagement needs a defined outcome For a marketing team, an incentive can make the request to participate more attractive. It also changes the reason a person might take part. A campaign therefore needs a clear objective and sensible rules for qualification, rather than treating the number of rewarded completions as a complete measure of success. The release did not disclose pricing, launch-customer results or a measured increase in conversion from this integration. Its claims about stronger engagement were statements of intended benefit.
