The connection added another use for points earned through business spending. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## A new route in the redemption menu The companies said conversion would be available through the Capital on Tap portal or mobile app. Existing redemption choices included cashback, gift cards and [Avios](https://giftcard.news/company/avios/). Pro customers were also offered Radisson Rewards VIP status, with benefits subject to the hotel programme’s conditions. A transfer ratio, hotel redemption price, availability and programme rules all affect the outcome for a cardholder. The announcement did not publish a conversion ratio or establish the cash-equivalent value of a transferred point. It therefore supports the availability of the connection, without proving that a hotel redemption is more valuable than a gift card or cashback. For gift-card providers, the partnership illustrates the competition for earned reward balances inside business-card platforms. A cardholder’s decision may depend on flexibility as much as headline value: a business planning travel and an owner looking for an everyday retail reward can reasonably choose different routes. The October 2025 release did not quantify transfers or bookings after launch.
