[DIGITALIO](https://giftcard.news/company/digitalio/), the operator of Digico, announced the arrangement on September 30 and said an unnamed company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime market had already decided to adopt it. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) The catalogue gives shareholders a choice between merchandise selected by the department store group and a digital gift that can be exchanged for supported electronic money, loyalty points and other rewards. It adds a digital alternative to the corporate catalogue business, rather than announcing a change to Daimaru Matsuzakaya's own shareholder benefits. ## Department store distribution meets digital choice DIGITALIO says the arrangement responds to demand for shareholder gifts suited to different lifestyles. Companies offering the catalogue can retain a department store selection while allowing recipients to choose a more flexible reward.
