[\[S01\]](#article-source-1) [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) ## Two awards, with a shared B2C win Tillo confirmed both results in its own post-event announcement, describing Quidco as a client and partner of nearly a decade. The company credited its customers and employees as well as its cashback partner. That distinction matters: the B2C honour belongs to the partnership, while Service Provider of the Year recognises Tillo separately. [\[S04\]](#article-source-4) These are different forms of recognition. A joint product entry brings the consumer proposition and the company supplying its technology into the same award. A provider category allows the wider service business to be considered separately. For industry readers, keeping those categories distinct is more useful than reducing the evening to a count of trophies. ## How the winners were selected For the first eight categories, the GCVA set out a panel process involving three or four judges chaired by an executive board member. A judge could not assess a category entered by their own company, and two judges from the same company could not sit on one panel. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) Entries were assessed individually and confidentially against ambition, outcome, communication, involvement and value. The resulting averages informed a discussion in which the panel agreed its shortlist and winner unanimously. The association therefore describes a combination of individual scoring and collective deliberation, rather than an automatic ranking based on one commercial metric. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) The two individual honours used a different route. The association's team and executive board checked nominations against the criteria and produced shortlists. Members then voted on the supporting evidence, with the highest average score determining the winner. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3) ## What the results tell the industry The awards span several parts of a gift card programme, from the customer proposition to the organisations that supply and manufacture it. For a buyer, that breadth suggests a practical way to read the results: use each category to identify a relevant conversation. A manufacturing award and a consumer-service award answer different questions. The category title establishes what was recognised, but it does not substitute for an explanation of how a programme works. Before adopting a similar approach, a retailer or rewards operator would still need to understand the integration, customer journey, costs, support arrangements and evidence of outcomes for its own market. An industry award is a useful introduction to that enquiry, not a comparable measure of revenue, redemption or market share. The GCVA's post-event update confirmed that the ceremony had taken place and shared official photography from the evening.
