The guidance was published by [InComm Payments](https://giftcard.news/company/incomm-payments/) on January 23, 2025. The company describes Mastercard gift cards as flexible rewards that can be used for purchases across participating merchants. Its suggested applications include recognizing performance, encouraging sales and making reward disbursements. ## Employee goals and customer reward tiers For employee incentives, InComm recommends defining the achievement being rewarded and matching the card value to that achievement. It presents different denominations as a way to distinguish routine recognition from more substantial milestones without changing the reward format. The customer loyalty section describes three uses: a reward tier linked to spending, a referral incentive after a referred customer buys, and a promotion shaped around the customer’s interests or purchase history. These are program design suggestions from the provider, with recipient choice remaining central to its argument for network-branded gift cards. ## Bulk administration and reporting InComm says organizations can order cards individually or in bulk and receive support from an account manager.
