The partnership attaches funded gifting to birthdays, departures and other shared occasions. ## Celebration credits and gift value pay for different things

Through the ChoiceLink collection pot, contributors fund a gift and recipients choose locally available brands. The announced network covered 3,000-plus brands in more than 25 countries. [\[S02\]](https://giftcard.news/rewards-loyalty/joyogram-tillo-group-gift-cards-march-2026/#article-source-2)

Those figures describe the network offered at announcement, not a promise that every recipient sees every brand. The local catalogue remains the practical limit on the gift's use.

The live pricing calculator checked October 19 returned a localized offer in Romanian lei. Its explicitly displayed price per send falls from RON 39 for one prepaid credit to RON 9.75 in a 100-credit pack, with the other published packs shown below. This comparison uses the quoted unit prices, not an exchange-rate conversion or a wholesale Tillo price. The credits pay for sending the celebration; the gift-card balance remains an additional purchase. That provides a clearer account of the business model than describing the integration as a free addition to recognition. Someone pays for the digital celebration, contributors fund the gift, and the partnership supplies the connection to reward inventory.

For Joyogram, the integration can keep the whole occasion inside its platform. An organiser who would otherwise collect money elsewhere has less reason to move that part of the process away. The companies have not disclosed whether or how gift transactions add to Joyogram's revenue.

For Tillo, the value is distribution through an existing social workflow. It can supply cards to people who arrived to celebrate a colleague rather than to browse a reward catalogue.

The participating retailer gains access to a recipient's eventual selection. That creates a route to spending, but not proof that the purchase is incremental or that the recipient will become a repeat customer.

A message can be contributed without assigning monetary value. A collection also needs clarity about its balance, recipient and redemption conditions. Combining both in one interface can reduce organising work while increasing the importance of explaining those financial details.

Joyogram's pricing page includes scheduled sending and local-country gift selection. Those features support an occasion-based service, but they do not make gift cards unrestricted cash or remove the merchant's redemption terms. The partnership did not publish take-up figures, average collection values, revenue sharing or a measured improvement in employee retention. Its commercial rationale is more immediate: attach funded gifting to a celebration people already intend to send.

That can make Joyogram more useful to an organiser and Tillo more embedded in the occasion. The return depends on completed collections and usable rewards, with a clear distinction between the cost of sending appreciation and the value ultimately received.

Joyogram's refund policy describes confirmed credit purchases as non-refundable once the digital service has been supplied, while preserving mandatory consumer remedies. That policy concerns the celebration credits. It does not establish a refund rule for every separately funded collection or retailer gift card, whose relevant conditions must still be checked.
