Tanner's September 16 product update. Photo: O.C. Tanner [O.C. Tanner](https://giftcard.news/company/o-c-tanner/) has added new [Microsoft Teams](https://giftcard.news/company/microsoft/) and [Zoom](https://giftcard.news/company/zoom/) capabilities to Culture Cloud, allowing employees to give and respond to recognition inside the collaboration tools they already use. The features were announced in the company's September 16 product update, which also outlined broader celebration and company gifting options. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) For employers running recognition programmes across several locations, the change concerns access as much as reward selection. A programme can offer gift cards and other awards, but employees still need a convenient way to recognize a colleague's contribution. Moving that activity into meetings and daily communication tools gives Culture Cloud another point of entry. ## A social feed inside Teams The Teams enhancement places Culture Cloud's social feed within Microsoft's application. Employees can view recognition, respond with likes and comments, and celebrate colleagues without leaving Teams. The update also describes the ability to send recognition during Teams meetings. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) That combines two parts of a recognition programme: issuing appreciation and letting the wider team see it. The social feed makes an award visible beyond its sender and recipient, while meeting access lets a manager or colleague act when a contribution is being discussed. O.C. Tanner presents the features as a way to reduce switching between applications. It has not disclosed usage figures or a measured increase in recognition tied to the new Teams functions, so the practical result will depend on how employers configure and encourage their use. ## Recognition during Zoom meetings The new Zoom integration makes Culture Cloud available in meetings and webinars. Employees can share appreciation within the meeting experience while keeping the programme's reporting and governance in Culture Cloud, according to the update. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) For a company already using Zoom across a distributed workforce, that offers a route to participation without introducing another place employees must remember to visit. It also lets the recognition provider remain part of the employer's existing collaboration setup rather than relying solely on visits to its own application. Culture Cloud's wider business combines recognition software with reward fulfilment. Its current global marketplace includes retailer gift cards, a Thanks Visa Cash Card, merchandise, travel and charitable donations. Employees earn points through recognition or other programmes, then browse and redeem within the platform. [\[S02\]](#article-source-2) The September integrations add places where recognition can happen; the announcement does not establish a new gift-card issuer, merchant catalogue or redemption rate. Nor does it say that every appreciation message automatically carries a funded award. Those details depend on the employer's programme. O.C. Tanner says availability of its quarterly additions may vary by region and directs customers to their representatives for details. The update provides no separate integration pricing or deployment figures. For programme owners, the immediate decision is whether the new access points fit their employees' working habits and existing rules for recognition and rewards.
