# Rucards launches Rewardifi to connect gift cards with rewards administration

The prepaid-card and voucher provider is extending into points, approvals and redemption workflows. Usage-based pricing gives the launch a commercial logic beyond catalogue size.

[Rucards](https://giftcard.news/company/rucards/) has launched Rewardifi, extending its prepaid-card and voucher business into software for allocating rewards and managing gift-card redemption. The September 15 announcement puts employee recognition, customer loyalty and channel incentives in the same product, with APIs intended to connect those programmes to a client's existing systems. The commercial significance lies in the work around a gift card: deciding who receives value, approving a budget, recording the allocation and following redemption. Bringing those steps into one service gives Rucards a potential role in a customer's recurring operations, beyond supplying the reward itself.

## From voucher supply to programme operations

Rucards says it was founded in 2021 and operates across prepaid cards, gift cards, brand vouchers and corporate expense management. Its business-to-business-to-consumer model connects corporate buyers with the people using those products. Expense tracking, spending limits and reporting are already part of the company's stated offering, making programme administration an adjacent activity. [\[S03\]](#article-source-3)

Rewardifi's public product description shows how the new proposition works. A business creates a separate workspace, assigns roles and spending limits, then allocates points that recipients can exchange for gift cards. Approvals, allocation histories and exportable records sit alongside the catalogue. For an employer, the potential benefit is less reconciliation between a rewards decision and its fulfilment. For the supplier, becoming the place where that decision is administered can create repeated use of the service. Both are reasons the design may appeal commercially, rather than demonstrated savings or retention gains.

Rewardifi's current pricing FAQ says charges are based on usage, including redemption, issuance, API calls or active users, rather than fixed seat licences.
