The company focuses on reliability, payment speed and the ability to choose how earnings are received. According to figures reported by Runa, 43% of surveyed independent workers had experienced payment delays. More than 70% said a poor payout experience could make them leave a platform or reconsider staying, while 31% would consider switching because of payment issues. The article also emphasizes choice. Runa discusses bank transfers, digital wallets, prepaid cards and gift cards as different options that may serve different recipients. It recommends making payment preferences easy to update instead of treating the initial selection as permanent. For platform operators, that means considering communications and visibility as well as the transfer itself. Workers need a dependable process and a clear understanding of the options available to them. Runa says existing customers can access its Pay to Card, prepaid-card and gift-card offerings through their integration.
