The company also announced a Model Context Protocol server connecting AI applications to its marketing infrastructure. The release describes offer discovery and enrolment, backed by receipt validation, promotion rules and reward fulfilment. Brands continue managing their programmes through Snipp. The announcement concerns the route into an offer; it does not establish that an assistant can spend an existing gift-card balance at any merchant. ## Why this matters for gift-card rewards Snipp’s separate rewards product documentation includes digital and physical gift cards alongside merchandise, experiences and cash incentives. It describes fulfilment triggered by validated purchases or engagement, with reporting on rewards issued and redeemed. Businesses can use API integrations or a managed service. That infrastructure is relevant because finding a promotion and receiving its reward are different steps. A conversational answer can point someone towards a programme, while the programme still has to determine eligibility, verify any required purchase and deliver the promised benefit. The product documentation also describes configurable reward storefronts and reporting by reward type, retailer and value. These are broader platform capabilities, rather than evidence that every reward or redemption route is available inside each AI connector. ## Discovery is only the first step For programme owners, the useful measure will be completed, eligible participation rather than the number of times an offer appears in a conversation. For shoppers, the offer’s conditions still matter: qualifying products, proof of purchase and the form of the reward must remain clear. Snipp’s release supplies no independently measured adoption or conversion results for the connectors.
