The hospitality group described its previous setup as difficult to track across venues and online. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## A group-wide balance at the point of sale Wrapped’s connection to [Lightspeed](https://giftcard.news/company/lightspeed/) supported redemption within existing venue workflows. The case study also describes mobile wallet storage and scanning with the point-of-sale camera. Co-founder and CEO [Oliver Brown](https://giftcard.news/person/oliver-brown/) reported an increase in gift-card sales, particularly online, but gave no percentage or revenue total. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) Brown also described customers using cards at venues they had not previously visited. The published account supplies no transaction dataset or comparison group to quantify that effect. It is a customer observation in supplier marketing, rather than an independently measured footfall result. [\[S01\]](#article-source-1) ## Why a hospitality group needs more than a checkout A multi-venue card has to work as a group promise. The recipient may know the restaurant where it was purchased but choose a different location to spend it. Staff at that second venue need a clear way to recognise the card and reduce the correct balance. That creates a management question behind the customer convenience: can the group see where value was sold and where it was redeemed? A shared customer experience is useful, but internal reporting still needs to make the movement of value understandable across locations. The case documents the operating design and the group’s response to it. It does not establish the size of an incremental sales gain or the profitability of the programme.
