Holders of unused Tacoma Arts Live and TAL Venues gift cards must submit claims by November 16, 2026 to remain eligible for a distribution on their balances under a newly approved receivership process.
Tacoma Arts Live's official notice says the Pierce County Superior Court approved the process through an order entered by Judge Susan Adams on September 25. A public legal notice published on September 30 sets out the claim requirement.
The cards can no longer be redeemed, according to both notices. The process applies to original purchasers and people who received the cards as gifts.
The receiver must receive a completed claim form by the November deadline. A holder who misses that date becomes ineligible for a distribution relating to the unredeemed balance.
Submitting a claim establishes eligibility under the process. The notices do not promise full reimbursement or specify a payment date.
The receivership began in March, when General Receiver Shelly Crocker LLC was appointed over the nonprofit and its subsidiary. September's development is the specific court-approved route for gift-card claims; the notices do not establish the first day on which card redemption stopped.
