Bitrefill has described its Naivas Supermarket gift card as a route to retail shopping in Kenya for cryptocurrency users. The November 2023 guide says the card could be used online and at more than 80 stores nationwide at that time.

The card amount is selected in Kenyan shillings, with the cryptocurrency amount shown in the purchase quote. Bitrefill notes that cryptocurrency price movements can affect the final quoted amount during payment.
