Botkyrka kommun has signed an employee gift-card framework with The Gifted Company AB. The official Swedish procurement result records September 21 as the contract's conclusion date; the result notice was published on September 25.

The municipality intends to use fixed-value cards for occasions including Christmas and service remembrance. Its definition allows spending at shops, online merchants, restaurants and businesses offering experiences. The notice distinguishes these monetary-value instruments from a merchandise-choice gift catalogue.

The framework is described as approximately SEK13 million excluding VAT. That figure represents the notice's estimated framework scope, rather than confirmed purchases, employee redemptions or supplier revenue.

The Gifted Company was selected on September 8 following two bids. The planned contract period runs from December 6, 2026, through December 5, 2028, without renewed competition for individual framework purchases.

The new event is the concluded supply contract. The result notice does not establish that cards have already been distributed or that the intended future service period has begun.
